12th Annual Balboa Island Parade
Last Year's Highlights: This year's theme is "Salute the Troops"
Last year's theme was "Salute the Troops" held on Sunday, June 5. Hope your were there, if not, here are some highlights... Mayor Bromberg announced that the 12th Annual Balboa Island Parade was held on June 5, 2005. He stated that approximately 7,000 people were in attendance.

The Balboa Island Patio Chair Drill Team has been an organization running 5 years now. Last years Sweepstakes winner and this year's People's Choice Award. Twirling these patio chairs in precision time to themed music has always been a crowd pleaser. |

Families reserve their spots ensuring they get the best seat in the house for the parade. Their enthusiasm is rewarded with a procession of marching bands, group storytelling entries, equestrian groups, vintage and decorated cars carrying dignitaries, decorated golf carts and wagons, dogs, and costumed children. |
